FOX17 Rock & Review Feature
Paula Blackman, author & screenwriter, joined Eric Dahl on the Rock & Review to discuss her new book ’Night Train to Nashville.’
“Blackman conducted fifteen years of research on this book before completing it. She is a sixth generation Nashvillian and her Grandfather was Edward “Gab” Blackman. Paula’s book covers a critical time in the US where radio stations like WLAC had an affect on the Civil Rights Movement through music. Blackman’s family had times to Etta James and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.. What started out as therapy for Paula turned into a movie worthy book.”
’Night Train to Nashville: The Greatest Untold Story of Music City’ is available everywhere now.
