Barry Kirby (as you may know) is John Richbourg’s step-son (John raised Barry). After Barry read the book, he wrote this review and hand delivered it to me, along with the framed poster from John R’s retirement party. This was one of two left in the family’s possession.
The Richbourgs were so grateful for me telling the full truth of the origin of R&B in Nashville, that they had the poster framed and delivered to me with their gratitude. How incredibly sweet was that?? It’s now hanging in my condo.
